1 Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to TAAROM ("Platform"), a digital astrology marketplace operated via website and mobile applications by TAAROM Tech Solutions LLP, a limited liability partnership registered under the laws of India ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our").

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement and govern access to and use of the Platform by all of the following:

These Terms are published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Access to and use of the Platform constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

2 Nature of the Platform

2.1 TAAROM is a technology intermediary platform as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000. It facilitates interaction between Users and independent Astrologers and does not itself provide any astrology, medical, legal, financial, or professional services.

2.2 All astrology services available on the Platform are belief-based, interpretative, and subjective in nature. They are offered for entertainment, guidance, and personal reflection purposes only.

2.3 Nothing on this Platform constitutes professional advice of any kind. Users are strongly advised to seek qualified professional advice for matters of health, law, finance, or mental wellbeing.

3 Eligibility

3.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use the Platform. By using TAAROM, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable Indian law.

3.2 If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation or entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind such entity to these Terms.

3.3 TAAROM reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to suspend or terminate access where eligibility criteria are not met.

4 Accounts and User Responsibility

4.1 All Users and Astrologers must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and maintain such accuracy throughout the use of the Platform.

4.2 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity conducted under your account shall be deemed to have been authorised by you.

4.3 You must notify TAAROM immediately at contact@taarom.in in the event of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach.

4.4 TAAROM reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts, with or without prior notice, at its sole discretion and subject to applicable law.

4.5 TAAROM shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this clause.

5 Payments, Pricing and Wallet

5.1 Services on the Platform are prepaid through wallet recharge or direct payment via authorised payment gateways. All payments are governed by the terms of the respective payment service provider.

5.2 All prices displayed on the Platform are final and inclusive of applicable taxes including Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5.3 Payments once made are non-refundable except as expressly required under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

5.4 TAAROM shall bear no liability whatsoever for payment gateway failures, bank or financial institution delays, third-party payment processing errors, or chargebacks initiated by Users without valid grounds.

5.5 In the event of detection of fraudulent, suspicious, or unauthorised transactions, TAAROM reserves the right to reverse wallet credits, freeze accounts, and report the matter to appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable law.

6 Independent Status of Astrologers

6.1 All Astrologers on the Platform are independent contractors and not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of TAAROM.

6.2 Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship between TAAROM and any Astrologer.

6.3 Astrologers are solely responsible for all advice, content, and conduct on the Platform, compliance with all applicable laws, their own tax obligations and statutory compliances, and maintaining professional standards and ethical conduct.

6.4 Astrologers have no authority to create any obligation or liability on behalf of TAAROM.

7 Astrologer Earnings and Settlements

7.1 Astrologer earnings are calculated after deduction of platform commissions, applicable taxes, payment gateway charges, refunds, and any other deductions as communicated by TAAROM from time to time.

7.2 Payouts are processed on a bi-weekly basis, subject to successful verification of sessions and transactions.

7.3 TAAROM expressly reserves the right to delay, adjust, withhold, reverse, or permanently forfeit payouts in circumstances including ethical violations, user complaints under investigation, suspected fraud or chargebacks, abuse or misconduct, and legal or regulatory requirements.

7.4 Such actions by TAAROM shall not constitute a breach of contract, and no claim for damages shall lie against TAAROM on account of such actions taken in good faith.

8 Referral Policy

8.1 TAAROM may, at its discretion, provide referral or invitation features on the Platform.

8.2 Referrals do not carry any monetary rewards, wallet credits, commissions, bonuses, or any other financial benefit unless explicitly communicated in writing by TAAROM.

8.3 Participation in any referral feature creates no enforceable entitlement, expectation, or legal claim of any nature against TAAROM.

8.4 TAAROM may modify, suspend, or discontinue referral features at any time and without prior notice.

9 Code of Ethics and Conduct for Astrologers

All Astrologers registered on the Platform are legally and contractually bound to comply with the following Code of Ethics:

• No fear-based, threatening, or manipulative predictions including references to death, disease, curses, or black magic
• No medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice of any kind
• No guarantees of outcomes, results, or future events
• No emotional, psychological, spiritual, or financial exploitation of Users
• Respectful, professional, and dignified communication at all times
• No abusive, vulgar, sexual, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory content
• Strict confidentiality of all User information in compliance with applicable privacy laws
• Honest and accurate representation of qualifications, experience, and expertise

10 Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited for all users of the Platform:

• Use of abusive, threatening, sexual, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate language
• Harassment, manipulation, intimidation, or deception of any person
• Posting, transmitting, or distributing illegal, false, or misleading content
• Circumventing or bypassing Platform payment systems
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Impersonating any person, entity, or Astrologer on the Platform
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to Platform systems, data, or accounts
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or reproducing Platform content without authorisation

TAAROM reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, including civil and criminal proceedings, against persons engaged in prohibited conduct.

11 Suspension and Termination

11.1 TAAROM reserves the right, at its sole discretion and subject to applicable law, to suspend or permanently terminate any account, remove profiles or content, restrict access to any feature, and withhold or forfeit pending earnings or wallet credits.

11.2 Grounds for such action include violation of these Terms, ethical misconduct, user complaints, fraud, misuse, reputational risk, or legal or regulatory requirements.

11.3 TAAROM's decisions with respect to suspension or termination shall be final and binding, subject only to applicable statutory rights.

12 No Reliance and Waiver

12.1 These written Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TAAROM and supersede all prior oral or written communications.

12.2 No oral statements, marketing materials, social media posts, or informal communications shall create enforceable rights or obligations unless confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of TAAROM.

12.3 Any and all claims based on expectations of earnings, referral benefits, predictions, or outcomes are expressly and irrevocably waived by the User upon acceptance of these Terms.

13 Intellectual Property

13.1 All software, technology, branding, design, logos, trademarks, content, text, graphics, and materials on the Platform are the exclusive intellectual property of TAAROM Tech Solutions LLP and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and other applicable intellectual property laws of India.

13.2 Unauthorised copying, reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of any Platform content is strictly prohibited and may attract civil and criminal liability.

13.3 Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use TAAROM's intellectual property without prior written consent.

14 Limitation of Liability

14.1 To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, TAAROM shall not be liable for decisions made by Users based on consultations, advice provided by independent Astrologers, emotional or financial outcomes, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

14.2 In all cases, TAAROM's total aggregate liability to any User or Astrologer shall not exceed the amount actually paid by such person for the specific session or service in dispute.

14.3 Nothing in this clause shall exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15 Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TAAROM, its directors, employees, affiliates, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your access to or use of the Platform, any violation of these Terms, breach of applicable laws or third-party rights, or any dispute between you and another user.

16 Privacy and Data Protection

16.1 Your use of the Platform is governed by TAAROM's Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16.2 TAAROM processes personal data in compliance with applicable Indian data protection laws including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

17 Force Majeure

TAAROM shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance arising from events beyond its reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, government orders, technical or infrastructure failures, internet outages, payment system disruptions, or acts of war or civil unrest. TAAROM shall take reasonable steps to resume normal operations as soon as practicable.

18 Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

18.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

18.2 Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice.

18.3 If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The language of arbitration shall be English.

18.4 Subject to the arbitration clause, courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

18.5 Nothing in this clause shall prevent TAAROM from seeking urgent interim relief from a competent court.
